About

Rachel Goodwin is a visual artist who works through abstracted mixed media and soft sculptural works. Her art practice often uses bright colors and patterns to examine themes of mass-consumption, retail display, and self-perception within today’s vast purchasing climate.

She has teaching experience with a variety of ages and walks of life in the valley, from youth summer art programming to college level visual art classes and senior living communities.

Rachel received her MFA in Painting and Drawing at Arizona State University in 2017 and holds a BFA in studio art from The University of Texas at Tyler. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally in juried group and solo exhibitions. She currently lives and works in Tucson, AZ, where she cherishes connecting with others through creative expression.
